YO YO. so. this is holly since kara never updates. i'll tell you about her life a bit.

she's been good lately. she watched signs for the first time today. and screamed like a little girl i might add. (but that's ok. i still love her) um. i'll give you a quote since i know you are dying for her words of wisdom.

"um... don't ever stick a pacifier in your butt."

those are her words verbatum. i'm guessing you don't want to know. anyways lead happy little lives and leave her tons of comments. cuz she's so cool.

hey there ya'll

sry its been awhile... i have only recently gotten back from my ski trip to Copper Mt Colorado and it was WONDERFUL. the snow was amazing, they said it was the best powder they had gotten in 30 yrs! i just hope it keeps up till i go back this spring w/ the band! lol!

I went to go see Narnia w/ Kat and Matt yesterday and that was deffinatly fun... even though the movie was sold out at the new AMC Firewheel by the new mall (which is pretty cool itself) so we had to go to AMC 30 instead...

Tonight some ppl are coming over to watch White Christmas (yes i know its after Christmas now) but i found out that a bunch of my friends had never seen it, which i think should be illeagal, so i said that they should all come over the week before Christmas to watch it... little did i know at the time that i would be in Colorado the week before Christmas so we are doing it tonight. if anyone hasnt seen the movie and has free time you can feel free to come over around 7 to watch it! lol!

ok well i should prolly go and get ready for ppl to come over... i just kinda felt bad about not posting in a while... not that anybody really has time to look at these things nemore neways! lol!... ok well ill write more later... byezers

ok so today has not been the best day in the history of the world but ill live... i deffinatly hope that school is canceled tomorrow but its not all that promising... ok so Narnia is in 2 days and its gonna be TOTALLY AWESOME!!! i can not wait... but it dont have neone to take w/ me so thats a bummer... but w/e im just praying God will use it in some way... but Rebecca Niven might be coming so that is cool cuz i havent seen her in a while...well  AP World is still a killer... didnt do so hot on my quiz yesterday but im still holdin out w/ an A so thats good... life is crazy and lots of stuff to think about... so i have only recently heard this song and i think it is one of the saddest songs ive ever heard... its called Christmas Shoes and im sure you have all heard it before but here are the lyrics neways...

hey guys... sry its been a while... life has been freakishly busy lately... between school, work, band, and homework i have had no free time what so ever...

all region was today... i got 33rd... they take 10 (which i think is crazyness) so that stinks... but i was expecting to make it... i didnt work hard enough to deserve it... whatever... ill just work harder next yr... now for solo & ensamble... if neone wants to do an ensamble and needs a f horn just let me know and id be glad to since im not in the ensamble i was in again this yr...

so school is pretty hard this tri... AP World is a killer... but i am making a 95 (second highest grade in the class) yeah! im pretty pleased anyway... science is not going quite as well... or math... but that can be fixed

so not much new going on... social life has taken a back seat in my life which is making my life more stessfull since i am a very social person... but im deffinatly paying for steping back the social aspect of life... but i guess its necisary sometimes and it usually happens this time of the yr cuz of lots of stuff going on... so if anyone wants to do something and save me from my current hermit life-style then just gimme a call! lol!...

ok well i need to go get ready for my brother and sisters piano recital... it should be cool... only prob is i have to dress up! lol!... i hope the nivens are at this recital... it would be super cool to see Rebecca again... then holly is coming over afterwards so that will be fun... havent hung out w/ her in a while so ya...

Philipeans 1:8-9

hey guys... well i have had kinda a challenging week thus far... i could use any prayers anyone would be willing to give me... i need to work on surendering some things to God and just flat out studying His word more so that i can be in tune to what he has to say to me... recent events have kinda turned my heart cold to all the joys that God has given me through life... we had a VERY convicting bible study lesson tonight that i needed to hear and i need to work on devoting my time to God and not to myself as I have become prone to do recently... i started out the year pretty well but then over the course of the trimester i have become rather lax in my walk with God... I am deffinatly going through some pretty hard trials currently and i need to remember to ask God to give me the strength to get through them because there is no way on earth that i can do it myself... only God can get me through this... Lisa reminded me of a verse tonight...

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 – But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

but on a lighter note... POTEET GOT FIRST AT STATE!!!! im almost as happy about that as they are i think! lol! congrats to all my Poteet friends i am so happy for you!... next year though it will be ya'll being happy for me and the Rowlett band! lol!

so ya... thats basically whats going on in my life currently... like a said, any prayers would be appreciated and if any of ya'll have ne prayer request just let me know via comment, e-mail, IM, or in person... and i WILL pray for you... i promise!

fall retreat is this weekend... i am SOOOO excited even though there are a bunch of ppl not going... its ok... we still love you! lol!... i finally get to ride w/ everyone there and back and get to stay the entire time for the first time! lol!... good luck to my football team and band etc at the playoff game this weekend... i know we can beat Mesquite! lol! (and i wanna do the fun show next week! lol!)
